Just quaffed an entry level Chimay Red and moved on to a bottle of Adnan's Broadside to get my stomach glowing and the liver and kidneys warmed up. Will go for some nice Westvletteren 8.......with wine later..... May crack a 75Cl Chimay Grande Reserve if I can maintain my intake

Ahhh, what would NSC be without a macho Christmas Day drinking thread....

One coffee, one Lemsip and a pint of water for me so far.

Had a bottle well shared a bottle of sparkling rose and have now started on the Chardonnay.

There are 36 pints of Dark Star Hophead sitting by the back door. A gift from the landlord of the best pub in Lewes and his brother.

They will be sharing this bounty, once they remove themselves from the pub.

What a drink that is! Can you get it in any off licence? Only ever had it in the Evening Star.

Bucks Fizz is flowing as a starter. Umpteen bottles of various reds and whites lined up for the meal plus as a standby 24 bottles of Harveys Christnas Ale plus more champagne. Reckon we will feasting about 5pm. I love Christmas Day.

Just discovered a forgotten bottle of La Trappe blond in my pantry, should go well as a light apres Trifle tipple .. units so far.... approx 7

one teeny glass of Chateauneuf with dinner as I am driving my father-in-law home so a late start for me today. I suspect a shot of Sloe Gin when I get in to warm me up, then a Weihenstephan to get going.
