Do you get anything from your firm for Christmas?

After 25 years of not getting anything except a share of a box of Quality Street going around a huge office, I have been pleasantly suprised at this little family printing business I work for.

I could have had the choice of a bottle of spirit or 3 bottles of wine. I chose the wine. We also had a profit share paid into our Dec wages (not much, £45 before tax but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick)
Then the Chairman's wife has given me a small box of Ferrero Rocher.

couple of drinks this year

ata nightclub, along with all the other shops, who i never seen before, nor want to again - fecking reprobates the lot of them! the previou owner used to give us £15 a head towards a meal.. if he was free that day, would also come along and chip in even more for some drinks!

about 15 years ago, at natwest, got £150 or so xmas bonus, and profot share etc.... all co's seem to be tight recently.. either feeling the pressure, or creaming it off for the directors.

aah, the hampers... once worked temp contract, so just
expecting basic wage- the boss bought everyone a decent
sized hamper (i got some goodies too!) but thry still whinged!
suppose cash would be preferred by most, but it was a nice
thought...
