You have just echoed my point Dyche is being talked about because he was won promotion to the PL.
So that makes him a better manager than Hughton? Hughton won promotion with Newcastle so they are evens!

Being a good manager isn't JUST about what you win.

Oh agree. But we'll still have to wade through them.

Anyway, my point was just conjecture. Let's get there first.

Conjecture based on experience though ! If we lose a game or don't score then the doom mongers will be out in force and that's in the Championship ! IF we get promoted it's all but guaranteed that your predictions will be correct because a lot of people want success at any cost so they can better enjoy their day at the football. Life's constraints (in this case sustainability of the club and Tony's wallet) don't come into it. Amidst all this talk of the consequences of promotion we must also consider the possibility of missing out and a lot of people won't understand that the inevitable budget reductions would not make CH a bad manager.

Remember all those fans making their opinions based on what Norwich fans said after our poor run at the end of 14/15 season under Hughton. Negative etc etc - said at the time that was bollocks and have been proved correct
