Good to see Leeds is on a lot of people's yes list. They're a horrible lot but we're a lovely place to visit!
Giving it a miss this time.

done it plenty of times and It's a good one, but with 3 northerners promoted, next season is going to get pricey.
Hopefully all 3 will go back down and 3 southern teams come up, next season

Everton and Sunderland the two new grounds for me.

I've been to Elland Road several times but never had a day out there, maybe tempted to give it a go as it is so highly rated.

Last time I stayed up there post match was about 20 years ago. On leaving the ground they were trying to kill us, out in town late that night when they picked up the southern accent they all seemed to treat me like a long lost brother

Most probably:-
Everton
Sunderland
Forest
Man City
Bournemouth
Leeds
Newcastle
Wolves
Aston Villa
Spurs
Liverpool
Arsenal
Fulham
West Ham
Man United
Brentford
Chelsea
Palace

Most Unlikely:-
Burnley (Unless it's the first game of the season or last away game).

I wondered about that. Been to Leeds loads of times but never for a match

Thinking of doing a city break to Berlin and taking in a Hertha Berlin game at the Olympic Stadium.
Hotel recommendations appreciated

Yes to Sunderland, Liverpool, Everton, most London games but not bothered about Fulham and Brentford.

That list changes like the wind by the way. Take West Ham. If it's an evening kick off, forget it I'm not interested. If it's Saturday 15.00 and at the start or end of the season in the sun? Worse ways to spend a day than a few beers around Hackney Wick.
West Ham though we won and had a bit of fun with tracksuit it really is a soulless bowl that football shouldn’t be played in.
How those hammers fans put up with extortionate ticket prices to watch boring Potter ball in that dump is mind blowing 🤣

Same as usual - no great preferences, will most of those I’m available for (ie when not on holiday or possibly fishing). Hopefully get to Sunderland and Everton as will be new grounds for me - Sunderland really isn‘t too bad a trip, fly to Newcastle then an hour on the metro direct.

West Ham is the worst stadium in the Premier League to watch football that I've been to, closely followed by the restricted view Palace section. A soulless bowl is a great description.

That said, it's offset as an away day by the pre match boozers selling overpriced pizzas washed down with 9% Bishops Bellend, Old man's tadger and Newts Ballsack in Hackney Wick. They've done the area really well. Give me that over a pint in the Dog and Gun around Croydon any day of the week.

Sunderland and Everton if possible (depending on when, probably make a weekend away).
Will try Forest again and yes, I went this last season too….
Otherwise not too worried but not likely to get certain London clubs.

Depends on where the matches appear in the season but all things being equal… we have friends in Leeds and Machester so we’ll be at least 2 of these 3. Plus we love Liverpool as a city so may well do both again. Sunderland I have been to before (both Roker Park and SoL) but I’m expecting 3 points there next season so will try to go. I’m another Forest victim from this past season so feel that I’m owed something. I’ve not been to Burnley in years but may avoid if we’re already going to at least 3 in the north west.

Retirement makes a lot of difference. It’s great to treat away games as weekends away and take in a Parkrun and/or some culture. I’ve been to all the London grounds and don’t plan to revisit this time around. I’ve still never been to Villa Park so possibly I’ll consider going this time. Depends on how we’re doing as well. If we have an unexpectedly poor season it’s easy to lose a bit of enthusiasm.

In a pile of football shirts
I’ll go to the ones I can make it to depending on the fixture dates and what else I might have organised for those dates.

Mine will be determined by Sky/TNT and Ryanair mainly but almost certainly shan’t bother with the horrible West Ham ground again - by far my least favourite.

I won’t do many evening away games unless it’s one I really fancy

Unless I’m on holiday though I deffo want to go to the two Northeastern rivals plus the mighty Leeds of course and probably Wolves and Villa

And I like Liverpool and Manchester as cities

And I’ve never been to Brentford

Bloody hell - I hope to be going a lot!

I really want to get tickets for the London game but as next season is merely my third year as a season ticket holder, I am miles off the upper tiers and expect to be so for a good few years yet.
