Stop all this negative, which is mostly my fault.

What I suggest is we had a bit more PR on the merits of the Falmer Stadium, .eg.

1) Who is the architect?
2) What is the roof made of?

if you know the answer the PR must have worked.

There is no argument against development in an area with Listed Buildings.

The argument is that the new development should be complimentary (something like that; not cheapen the neighbourhood) i.e. my interpretation is the design needs to be of the same standard.

I would like to think the stadium should be the Listed Stadium of the future. Maybe, I am dreaming that it is more that a prefab with fancy bits?

That didn't stop a Grade II listed building being knocked down for flats in Worthing. (On the seafront by Styne Gardens):tosser:

High up on the South Downs.
Sussex Uni and Bton Uni have destroyed a beautiful downland valley. But the scumbags who live in Falmer village are not interested in that. We all know that this is not about the environment.

If we don't get the stadium perhaps we could make life a bit less pleasant for these privileged people in the village of Falmer.

The Falmer residents are always complaining about university students parking their cars around the pond. When the stadium is built, the subsequent parking restrictions will cure this problem at a stroke, but will they thank us for it????

The Falmer residents complain about everything. I bet that if Mavis Saggytits found a fiver in the road she'd moan that it wasn't a tenner!
