What - while the play is still going on? Verbruggen gathers the ball and passes it out, Brighton play on, with half an ear to the discussion going on. Hmmm..................

This comes back to a point I was going to make before when people say "it should be like the way they do it in rugby".

In all the rugby union reviews I've seen, play has stopped and the officials have the time and space to discuss whilst the referee is not having to chase and monitor the game. In football, very often play is continuing and the referee is trying to keep up with the game being played at a fast pace.

That said, when play HAS stopped and officials are discussing a review, I don't see why that dialogue can't be shared so fans, particularly those in the stadium in question, have an idea what is going on.
