Good point. I’m assuming Dwayne has built a competitive (more successful) company than Starlizard and is currently posting from his super-yacht, at this moment moored in Monaco. My amazement rarely ceases to be sated when reading the abject ramblings of the ill-informed on NSC; confidently stating what Bloom is missing - usually something bleeding obvious.

I read recently on a work trip to the US that around 39% of talent ‘acquisitions’ in sport successfully deliver the expected outcome for the acquiring team / club.

Perhaps people like Dwayne operate (with obvious delight) with such confidence because they are actually largely mentally challenged to understand the data.

‘Failure’ is abstract by its very definition. It’s subjective. People of a low intellectual capacity typically cling to and therefore pedal narratives or ideas that have to be binary. Nuance and context is beyond them.

Both the words and the grammatical construct of the sentences that Dwayne uses would suggest that the ability to reflect, think and engage in interesting discourse is well beyond him.

This Greek kid may be the second coming of Zeus. He may be awful. He may fail here and be a stellar success elsewhere. Who knows?

I’d suggest Dwayne doesn’t.
What a load of nonsense.

Tony Bloom is a genius, Tony Bloom is far more successful than me. I'm not doubting that.

That doesn't stop me from having an opinion! And presenting my thoughts on how I think this transfer will go......in fact, I haven't predicted how this player will fare. Just merely presented my opinion that this is a massive gamble.

Would be a pretty dull board if we couldn't present our opinions.

What an arrogant fella you are.

I do think this is a clear sign we are pivoting our model. It’s quite clear some of the top 6 clubs have been copying our model, if we want to stay ahead of the game, we need to change markets and strategy, I’m happy to see how it pans out.

Out of interest is there any striker targets you quite like Dwayne?

The problem with people who see negatives in everything is that when the sun does shine they only look for incoming clouds.
A lot of our signings I liked the look of and was buzzing about at the time (and now) .....

Georginio
Baleba
Gruda
Wieffer
Boscogli (top signing)
Minteh

Are you infallible?
No one is TB, and those who advise him have made some pretty bad purchases and appointments. Although you do have to look a few years back to find the particularly awful ones. Nothing recent comes to mind, sure a few haven't worked out as well as hoped, but they are a long way from the likes of Locadia and Sami

Pretty unpleasant way to refer to a very young player and human being who has done nothing wrong whether towards you, the club, or the world in general.

What if he read your post? Perhaps on reflection you might like to delete it?
Totally agree. The Cashin pile-on is nothing short of bullying of a young Albion player. He needs and deserves our support, not this sort of dog's abuse.

It's a bit of banter. Nasty banter yes. But for 2 million a year or whatever he's paid I would stand naked in stocks getting tomatoes and abuse thrown at me for 24 hours straight.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

He was a player we tracked over at least 2 transfer windows and was captain of his previous club, yet after playing a whopping 19 minutes in the stripes, he's already been written off by the usual WUM's.

Just to add, Hürzeler said that of the players we signed last August, only Minteh and Gorgeous Georgi have adapted to the PL after nearly 2,000 minutes each.

It's safe to say Cashin needs the same time and patience as anyone else joining the club.

Just look at Weiffer? Got absolute dogs abuse early on, and has proven to be a critical part of one of our best league runs last season.
