Christ, I remember Percy.
I remember the first time I met him we were playing Fulham and it might well have been New Years Day. We were waiting for the tube at Victoria and most of us were either totally hungover or one can in. Percy couldn’t speak or stand very well. He still got in
Edit- just looked on 11v11 and it must have been 1/1/1988. Thought it was later than that but we didn’t play them away again till 93.
