With no evidence at all, and no real reason for thinking it, I’ve somehow got it into my head that this chap is going to play a part this season. Why?

No. He has had 7 starts in Reading’s 30 league games and seems to have been shunned this year (2024) due to the club probably realising he is leaving.
One for the long term I think.
