With so many players sick with this virus, why was Jake not in the squad on saturday after the way he started our demolition of Southhampton in January,Gus is the man for the job, but some times i have to question his team selection.

What the fcuk has sparrow scoring twice got to do with starting an up and coming youngster from the development squad for a couple of games to cover sickness.Sparrow had 1 good game ,Caskey is what 17 and scored in his next game also.
Sparrow is also out of the picture for the next couple of games due to his own stupidity which cost us 2 points on saturday

Weather people like it or not, Poyet is the same as a lot of managers when it comes to players. When he bought Caskey in, it was not a Poyet masterstroke or a touch of genius. It was because the squad was ravaged with injuries and suspensions and he was down to the bare bones. It was either Caskey or Harley, he couldn't really pick Harley, so Caskey got his chance and grabbed it with both hands. One game against Newcastle a top six prem side, he looked out of his depth and all that went before was forgotten and he was out of the picture again and back with the youth squad...As for the age issue, that's a crock of shite. If you good enough you are old enough and Caskey is good enough.

Bit like Buckley is always the first player subbed, or even dropped...Until that little run he had where he was roasting defenders for fun and scoring goals and made himself undroppable....Yes I know he has this mystery virus atm, but all to often it's Buckley on the bench or Buckley the first one subbed.

Maybe he's not performed well enough in training compared to the 600 other central midfielders we have in our squad? Maybe he's ill? Maybe, JUST MAYBE, the guy who trains the side every day and knows the players inside out actually knows better than some know-nothing keyboard warriors who watched a 17 year old have a good game almost 3 months ago. Caskey is a great prospect but that's just it, he's a prospect. I trust him to hold his own when he's in favour but we shouldn't be building a side around him, yet.
