Watford O - NSC's favourite away fan if I remember correctly.....

Nice to speak you again Buzza. Hope you enjoyed yesterday. It looked great on the Football League show.

I did mate. I was hoping to come over to Cardiff in a couple of weeks but it's difficult being a night game. Would have been a new ground for me. Well most of us actually. :drink:

(I think that meeting in the Nelson was about EIGHT years ago!!!)

The summer of 2004 is my guess, but I may be wrong.

I hope plenty of Seagulls fans make the journey to South Wales on the 17th. The experience for away fans at our new stadium is a world away from how how things used to be at the old ground.

Many visiting supporters last season apparently voted the Cardiff City Stadium as the most away fan friendly ground in the division. The facilities under the stands are excellent. Huge concourses, plenty of room at the bars, large toilet areas, etc etc. The away end is next to our Family Stand and has its own section where families from both clubs mix and use the same facilities (playstations and that kind of thing for the kids apparently).

There are never any problems in and around the stadium these days. I think I'm right in saying there were just five arrests last season and all of those were for relatively minor offences. Cardiff City has made huge strides in recent years in terms of fan behaviour. The club won the Football League Family Club of the Year award last season, and the stadium also won a European award for its family facilities.

Ninian Park it ain't!

There were two in 2004 but the one where you won best rival poster was July 2003. (I had to check up in NSC gold, just now, to confirm). I wasn't worried about Cardiff's reputation as I'd heard that it was a lot better with the new stadium.
