ive heard afew tracks sound ok- supposed to be like XTC, boomtown rats, orange juice.

Very XTC. Not keen myself. You could have my promo copy (in cardboard sleeve) fi you like... pm me your address and I'll try to remember to send it to you before I go on holiday this w/e, but more likely your address will be pinned on my board above my computer for the next six months giving me pangs of guilt every now and then...

Popkins - Dogs Die in Hot Cars' album is okay, nothing spectacular but we have very different opinions on music so you may think it's great.

I recommend The Walkmen.

i shot dogs die a few times on the last tour and after not liking them at the time they have grown on me quite a lot and i think i might have to get my hands on a copy of the album.

kaiser chiefs are class... only had one single out but all 3 songs are fantastic if you can get your hands on them.

mower - either of their two albums, both are outstanding - very 'kinks'

obviously the ordinary boys, whose album is selling very well, charting at 19 here and number one in the japanese international chart, and no.12 in the domestic chart which is bloody good for a british band!!
