I'm not too sure about all this banning stuff.
A) If a user is compelled to be deliberately offensive to simply cause uproar/controversy then they must have a low self-esteem & in need of being the centre of attention - simple as.
B) If you do find them continually offensive then simply put them on your ignore list.

OK Dwayne could be an arse, but who couldn't? Seems to me he's been OK generally for a good long time now and - feckit - who are we to judge? Dunno what's been PM'ed and I guess it must have been pretty strong to invoke such a heavy-handed clampdown, but all I can say is me last memory of the guy posting was some ol' thing last weekend when the lad ended up saying sorry to Yorkie for some case of mistaken identity in Peterboro. Not the actions of some kind of monster I'd suggest.
Room for all sorts on NSC I'd have thought. Certainly used to be the case. NSC was dead vicious only a couple of seasons back -you'd be flamed soon as look at you. But you shaped up or shipped out. Maybe the get-togethers have knocked the edge off it (like as in the anguished breast-beating when The Sun took up on the ButterMountain Auction story - so many liberals wringing their hands when - face it - the bloke deserved absolutely every bit of stick he got. And - lest we forget - it was f***ing HILARIOUS!!!)
