ooh blimey, wasn't expecting all that

Right, first up, just realised I can't spell lone in the context of on-loan. Other than then, when I just did.

That was my first post but only under a new name. I have been away (not prison), old email account had to be deleted (anyone who shares their pc might sympathise) and therefore no NSC passward retrieval.

I am not Nicky Forster, his agent, his mum or even the bloke he buys his paper from in the morning. I've just always liked the guy, his attitude and his work rate. It looked like it was career over last season and I genuinely think it's sad that he's potentially ending his career out of the picture.

Realistically we're very unlikely to go down and there's a snowball in hell we'd go up so is it really that 'dangerous' or stupid to let the bloke end his career playing football at a decent level rather than bench warming or in L2?

I'd forgotten how much fun it was in here.

Oh, and what's the clue that proves I'm his wife? My Mrs won't be happy finding out I've married another bloke.

He'll get a contract, no reason not to get one as far as I can see (maybe his transfer request 'tantrum' might be the one fly in the ointment).

Fair enough but my main point was about finishing his career playing football, not fading away. If you're right, and I don't doubt it, then playing football must be more important to him than the money.

is one of the kids called jamie?

i'm not guessing any more after this alright you'd better just fess up and end this clock and dagger OUTRAGES

She referred to him as 'Mr.Forster' which is what he makes her call him whilst he's dishing out his weekly cock-whipping.

Pork pie land.
Been away for a bit sorry for going over old ground but it may well be that Mr Forster is soon to be on his way.

He's not being picked and not being allowed to go on lone to anyone Albion consider a threat/rival (pretty much everyone in L1 then). He's been 'allowed' to talk to 2 northern clubs and Colchester.

Roughly 100 games/50 goals. Works his bloody backside off every week. Well liked by all. Experienced. Injury free this year. Top scorer. A toch of real class. Wants to stay. Doing his coaching badges.

He's not a 22 year old with no ties. He's 36, has 3 kids and unless the wage stuctures gone out the window, a mortgage too. What bloomin' use are clubs in Yorkshire?

Seriously, the way he's being treated as a disgrace. Doesn't bode well for the future. Gus Poyet is many things but Capello/Morinho he is not. Surely he needs to respect what this bloke has done in his time here. Play him or let him go wherever he can. Be sad to see a class act leave like this.

Colchester on Monday night. They might have a new striker come Tuesday.

So who the f*** are you? His Agent?:laugh::laugh:

Whilst I would like to see the guy stay in some capacity, he cannot be considered as part of the future of our Club. Clearly the Manager, backed by the Chairman, have ambitious plans for the future (- and it is about bloody time after all these years since '83!) and an aging striker is unlikely to form a major part of them.

Hopefully, we will see the departure of a lot of dead wood like Cox, and others over the next few months to be replaced by some real quality.

Unfortunately, the Club is not here to let Forster play football. With only one up front, a younger pair of legs are needed.

As fot the rest of this season being unimportant, I do not agree. First task is to ensure we stay up - we have only just scraped our way out of the bottom four remember! The second task is to build the basis for next year's team.

Don't forget the back to back Championships started with a fine run at the end of the previous season, and we need to try to emulate that with what is left of this season.

Also, I am sure that the Board must consider it important that we get our home form sorted out to get the interest back and season ticket sales up for next year.

Who said he was 'allowed' to spk to 2 other clubs and Col U???

Thought it had all been resolved?

Also 'smart arses' as they've been called - dont get so cocky and dismiss needing forster just cos we've won 2 games - short memories some of u

I think that he will still have a part to play in the rest of our season as we cannot rely solely on 1 striker, whoever that may be, and I see him as a better prospect of scoring, if a goal is needed than Holdroyd, at least for this season.

I'm not suggesting that, and I doubt anyone else is. Forster is brilliant, but shouldn't be in the starting line-up as things stand right at this minute. That could all change in a matter of weeks, such is the nature of football, and thats why I think its important that we keep him at least for the rest of the season, rather than loaning him out to a club in our division like the bellend who started this thread.
