It says on the TeamTalk page that Mark McGhee was set to offer him a short-term deal before they came in for him, is this true

Yes, we wanted him short-term. Obviously it's the job of his agent to get him a far longer deal than that.

I was impressed with him but can't really judge as I didn't see the MK Dons game.

It's possible he is no better than Hart or Reid and therefore not worth taking the risk on.

I suppose if missing out on Brittain means we can afford a decent midfielder and striker then that i think is a price worth paying. However I think we will end up getting none of these by the time of the first game.
