They're both racial and discrimnatory. But while one was unpleasant drivel, the other was considered incitement. If Griffin had promoted working class murders or even harassment of muslims, I suspect he'd now be locked up.

Looks like i've been missing an interesting thread this evening! I see the word racist is being thrown around in the direction of the usual suspects again so maybe it's worth remembering that racism does cut both ways, And I think that was proved the other day by those Bastards who killed that young Scotish lad. Anyway I do happen to agree with certain policies of the BNP but I would'nt class myself as a racist, I tend to get get on well with people of all genders and from all sorts of ethnic backgrounds so being a racist does'nt even come into it. The only thing I can be accused of is being a bit anti muslim from time to time, But then again we do seem to be at war with a lot of them at the moment.

The law does not cover religious hatred. If it did there would be no-one left in N.Ireland or most parts of Glasgow. They would all be inside.

Both cases obviously had to be looked at on the evidence presented before a jury about single events.

But lets not compare the stupid man at a demo and Nick Griffin.

For f*cks sake, he's made a CAREER out of it.

How anyone can support that party in anyway is beyond me.

How can anyone align themselves with a facist party ?

Did Griffin advocate killing the Muslims ?

His sidekick said "let's show ethnics the door in 94" which seems to be a call for the expulsion of non-whites.

I think theh Muslim was guilty of advocating violence but i still fail to se how it was "racial" unless we (non-muslims) all belong to the same ethnic background.

which remains the central question, especially when tomorrow we will be honouring those who gave their lives to defeat fascism.

They brought themselves into the question. The party was formed by man who called Mein Kampf "his bible".

Griffin was quoted recently as saying that the gas chambers were probably built after the war.

The BNP are a facist party is the very truest sense of the word. They align themselves with other parties in Europe who are quite happy with the term.

At least be honest about it.

THAT my friend is the best post I've read on here for a long long time.

I agree 100% with every word of it.

If you support the BNP (and I'm not sure if you do), then you havent really got much concern for our history or culture either.

In the 1940s you'd have been considered as supporting the "other side" and quite rightly so.
