Gloriously sunny day and forecast to be a balmy 13 degrees. Has to be The Cottage Inn, right on the river and a short-ish walk to Ashton Gate .

Don't tell too many.... it will slow down service, food is adequate here too.

I shall be joining the 17-30 train from Paddington at Didcot. Doesn't get to Bristol temple meads until 19-15, so my pub of choice will be the First Great Western buffet car.
