I'd mostly say Brighton. I didn't even know I was doing it wrong

Brighton to outsiders or telling people who I support. The Albion could be WBA, Burton, Seagulls or one of the jocko teams.

The Albion to all my mates. Anyone who doesn't refer to them as the Albion...well you are obviously not a real fan.

In Sussex - "The Albion". As in "good result for the Albion last night" ...

Outside Sussex - "Bri'un"

As I'm Midlands based now, so, as others have already said, "Albion" round these parts = Baggies or Burton, so it's always "Brighton" or "the mighty Seagulls!"

I say "The Albion" to my Albion watching family.
If someone asks who do you support I'd probably give the full monty: "Brighton & Hove Albion".

Brighton & Hove Albion has a proper ring to it :albion2: UTA

Neither of the above. It's the Dolphins for me, but then I am old school.

Always say 'the albion'. Worst thing ever is this new thing that seems to be more common: 'Brighton FC'. It's horrendous. I even saw a Twitter account (trying to be a fans one) that said 'All the latest from Brighton FC' - horrible!

Don't mind the term 'BHA' as a shortened version in text speak personally.

I have a very poor quality scarf, bought in Western Road on the eve of the play-off final against Notts County, that says Brighton FC.

For some reason I always feel a bit self conscious about calling us "The Albion". It's a term I can imagine coming naturally to a bloke in a flat cap on the Goldstone terraces but not to a git like me, with my padded seat, big screen and smartphone.
