I hear ckr has been taken off and gone home
Not true, He came off when and got changed and then sat in the stands with his family (like Butters)

When the final whistle went CKR's family started to leave and he went the other way when they called him to come with them he said im going to see the boys.

Excellent, another victory over the scum. Who played up front for us? If it was CKR, how did he play?
CKR, Frutos and Robinson.

CKR played ok and put a bit of effort in but didn't really threaten, was taken off after about 50 mins.

Frutos was very good IMO not scared to run at players and caused a few problems.

As above with Robinson

How long did Butters play for? Who else played?

Butters played an hour.

Breach, Winterton, Rents, Chamberlain, Frazer, Loft. Cant remember many of the others as didn't see the team sheet.

He's a battling midfielder type rather than a playmaker - but did well at QPR Reserves last week according to reports so a few more games like that and he might be close.

I disagree, his range of passing is excellent. He spreads play well and is good one touch player. He is very much a Gerrard type player in that he can play spot a pass and also has a decent engine meaning he can play box to box.

Cheers. Presumably same formation as the first team? If so who was in the holding midfield, Fraser?

Just got back. A very impressive performance although palarse were very poor.

Frutos gave them the run around and Fraser looks like a natural leader in midfield. Loft took his goals very well. All in all a very enjoyable evening!

Also, Teddy Sheringham was there with his girlfriend, who must be at least half his age!

wot no crowd ?

disappointing turn out imo. was expecting some effort, have you forgotten we hate the palace ? was impressed by #7 scott chamberlain, never heard of him. neat and tidy, kept the ball well, decent passing and didn't waste possession - obviously wouldn't fit in with the first team midfield ! robinson was dangerous on the left. previously, hadn't rated lofty but he was aggressive and finished well. fruity had a real go and created lots. that's four midfielders who mcghee should be considering for more 1st team action.

3-0 about right

shame palacs did not bring a stronger side down and make more of a game of it as 9 of their players were members of the youth team palace missed a one on one and hit the woodwork twice but to be fair brighton missed a few sitters to

ckr was the best player on the pitch peter taylor kept an eye on him
good to see Teddy Sheringham 'peter taylor and micky adams

The future doesn't look bright for you guys then. Your fullback's were both particularly bad and I don't think Teddy will be very impressed with his son's performance.

my arse he was - usual showboating bollocks and no cutting edge. i used to like him as a player but it's the same old same old with him - he hasn't improved as a player (whether or not that's due to our poor management). he'll never make it as player until he learns how to challenge for a header. i wish him good luck at the blades but i'm not sad to see him go.
