The risk was always there...if Maupay got injured or lost his mojo we had no bankable option. Connolly needs do to his time in the Championship, anything Wellbeck can do is a bonus, but not a given.

If we were deep in the relegation zone with not many games left, it'd be too late. We're not even in the bottom 3 and nay new manager would still have 24 games AND a transfer window to turn things round FFS.
 


this is quite funny really..at least now we will have to attack the goal. i dont care if they shoot 10 times and miss 10 times but the more they shoot then eventually one will get through

Potter has to take ownership of this. We can't attack and we can't defend. He doesn't make decisions and is constantly out thought by managers during the game.
People say we don't have the quality. Fine. Against top 6 sides, fine. Against Sheffield United?! They are GASH.
