Not sure about that ... their next 2 are against Cardiff and Hull and they simply can't afford to keep drawing. I've got a feeling they might get on the front foot ... I'm looking forward to one of those games that Gus doesn't like :)

That I did not know however I think Hull will fade away soon and Cardiff have poor form

Well some people go on gut feeling but I have been studying statistics and dvd's of both sides footage for over a week. The analysis still supported a 2-0 win, however not convinced this would be enough to justify my opinion to Internet cretins I then consulted not one but 3 higher beings who (via the medium of prayer) all confirmed the result would stand.
Good answer.

What would our rivals want the result to be? I bet they would all say a draw. Middlesbrough would be happy with a draw.

I don't think they will park the bus like Cardiff, but smother the midfield like Sunderland, and if they do appear defensive it will be because the Albion have forced it on them. Excluding individual mistakes, I would expect the Albion to win by one clear goal.

So difficult to call, Hull have a banker today (cue certain loss!!) and a reasonably straightforward (as much as that's possible) run in. Cardiff are in poor form but then none of the 6 are in particularly good form .... nobody has picked up more than 9 points in their last 6 games.

Won't prolong the debate for fear of boring to death but on reflection Boro may well park the bus but the draw suits us more than them ... but only marginally I think

How do you know the final score will be 2-0? Probabilistic analysis or did your god (who determines everything that happens) tell you it would be? Even if it is 2-0, how can you prove that the outcome wasn't the result of chance?

My punt was 2-1 on the basis that we are at home, in pretty good form, have key players fit and are playing a team that have the capability to score but are playing away. Not very scientific I know but it's just part of the fun of being a football fan.

I was wondering if you actually bother attending games as surely it's a waste of time paying to watch 90 mins of indeterminable, unforeseeable and essentially random actions when you could just watch Final Score at 4:50.

really nervous about this one, it has potential to be a goal fest with 2 good sides, but alas I fear a very nervy 90 mins. no south stand goal today, a winner for the albion in the 74th. 1-0 and back up to 4th.
