Our game management is so bad, five minutes to half time and Dunk decides to play a ball straight in centre midfield and we lose a goal. Totally brainless.
If any of our other centre backs do that they are absolutely lambasted and there's a poll. He's a brilliant player for us but there's always bad decisions in his game. Constant brain farts. Oh and I'll keep saying it but STOP TAKING FREE KICKS. You're shit at them.

Started off great.

Gave away 2 goals, though they gave us our first.

Dunk was at fault but still a sh!t pass from Bart to Gross. Really don't see Bart being a good enough ball player for RDZ's tactics, still don't know if he's a great shot stopper though.

Hopefully we come out second half without our heads being down.

was last season better?
Can't remember making two such calamitous errors in either of the two home games against Liverpool last season. Sadly the constant rotation has robbed the team shape of any fluency and consistency

f*** me that's frustrating.

Comfortably in control for 40 minutes and then we go and implode again. It's bad enough that we're giving away one shit goal a game but now we're giving away two. In the space of a few minutes. Three games in a row.

It's getting potteresque in it's levels of annoyance/frustration.

All our good work undone:tantrum:

When do we start admitting that we aren't conceding goals this season because of are attacking but because we can't defend?

We are just not good enough to play the de zerbi way when we have a few out. De zerbi overrated manager as it stands.

Given neither of our keepers make great saves we should stick with Steele who is so much better with his feet

I remember 5 (ish) years ago when he used to have a tendency to be rash, make stupid decisions, normally 1 or 2 a game.

He had cut that out up until recently. The first goal he’s made the first mistake giving the ball away. Then a very rash decision going wrong side of the defender to try to win it back.

Spot on. Game management and ability to defend this season is night and day from last. Nailed on we'd go in at 1-0 last season.
What the hell has happened to Dunk?
there has to be an inquest into why there are so many individual errors. been undone by these time and again this season. feels like heresy to mention, but dunk really hasn’t looked that assured so far this season. does a lot of what he usually does (block vs marseille), but i’m seeing that rashness in his game that we haven’t seen for 7/8 years. why is that?

there is still something here for us. it’s just annoying that we’re liable to throw away whatever that is at any given moment

Thank God Steele didn’t play. He’d have got the blame for not saving the first.
Imagine if Dahoud was playing, he'd be in the frame for the cup final money

Why do we insist on this risky football all the time? We can’t manage a game for shit. 2 minutes until half time, just get in at 1-1. But no we pass to our central midfielder under pressure 8 yards from goal. Poor
It's not brave Roberto. It's stupid. It's f***ing stupid. See the half out at 1-1.
