Barnes is again getting on my tits, he tries, he gets in great positions, he just isn't a quality finisher and misses to many good opportunities.

That said, I wouldn't take him off yet... leave it 20 mins and if still same, take of kish and put on Murray for 3 pronged attack.

We simply have to win today, with saints beckoning next

Byrne seems to rate him highly which is good enough for me. He's had a snap shot saved and a tap in taken off his toe. Wood has done F all and Batti seems to be having a mare. Why does Barnes always get the blame when things aren't going well? I'm not sure he's "missed" anything today has he?

we miss Spparrow and that little bit more forward intent that he offers from midfield. Dicker doesn't really offer a goalscoring option and Batti seems more naturally defensive too. Add Kish and our midfield should be solid but it's unadventurous. When they try to push outside their comfort zones we leave gaps in the middle of the park.

We cannot afford to go Gung Ho chasing the game for at least 35 mins imo. If we keep passing and probing the chances are we will wear them down. If we throw too much at them too soon we will inevitably be hit on the break like last week.

Keep cool and we will get a least a point maybe all three
