Play off results at Brighton
None

Head-to-head
• Both teams enter this second leg all-square, having played out a goalless draw in the first leg at Selhurst Park on Friday night.
• Only one win separates these clubs after 97 meetings over 93 years; Brighton have won 37, Crystal Palace 36 with 24 drawn.
• Brighton won this season's equivalent league fixture 3-0 in March, with a double from Leonardo Ulloa either side of half-time, in addition to a fabulous strike from David Lopez.
• The Eagles are looking for a first goal in three matches against their arch rivals.
• The winners will play Watford at Wembley on Monday, 27 May for a place in the Premier League.
Brighton
• Brighton go into this clash on a 10-match unbeaten run, after winning five and drawing five since defeat at Barnsley on 12 March.
• They are looking for a third successive victory on home soil, and have not lost in nine games in front of their home supporters subsequent to Arsenal's visit in the FA Cup on 26 January (W6, D3).
• Fourth place in the Championship table was their highest finish since relegation from the top-flight in 1983.
• The club finishing two places below the automatic promotion spots has been the least successful in the play-offs, winning promotion to the top division on only three occasions, the last being Charlton in 1998.
• Brighton were the draw specialists of the second tier (18 of 46), and boasted the meanest defence, shipping just 43 goals.
• This is Brighton's third adventure in the play-offs; they failed to go up to the top-flight through them in 1991, and were promoted to the second tier in 2004 via this route.
• This is the first play-off campaign of Gus Poyet's managerial career.
• Brighton are hoping to book a first ever visit to the new Wembley.
Crystal Palace
• Friday's first leg was Crystal Palace's fourth draw in an unbeaten last five, but they've only won one of their last 11 in all competitions.
• They have never gone into the second leg of a play-off semi-final all square.
• The Eagles have not won away from home since a 1-0 victory over Derby at Pride Park on 1 March, and have only scored one game in their five subsequent matches on the road (D2 L3).
• At fifth, Palace finished in their highest position in five seasons, immediately below Brighton with three fewer points, an equal number of victories (19) and four more goals.
• This is Palace's seventh play-off campaign; all in the second tier. Only Ipswich have been involved in an equal number at this level.
• Palace have been promoted to the top-flight via the play-offs on three occasions in 1989, 1997 and 2004.
• This is the fifth play-off campaign of Ian Holloway's managerial career. He famously took Blackpool up to the Premier League through them in May 2010, but failed to get Bristol Rovers past the semi-finals in 1998, and lost in the final with QPR at the Millennium Stadium in 2003 and with Blackpool at the new Wembley in 2012.
• The Eagles are also trying to qualify for a first ever trip to the new Wembley.

Nice one Rowley.

Quietly confident about tonight. Play like we have been recently and we will win. What would be really good is if we blast them away in the first half hour and then we can enjoy the rest of the game, but we are Brighton, so penalties it is then!

Well I'm confident. When we battered Palace 3-0, I swear even KLL (who was on fire) may have misplaced a pass or two. Similarly, Rowley has done the basics well here. Sure, not perfect but SOLID.

2-0 to us. :ascarf:

Over there
00:40  you left it late there Rowley, any schmuck could have snuck in and cursed this whole show

Ha ha, sorry about that D.F.P, the kids were calling out last night as I was putting it together, so was later than usual. Anyway not many other nutters up that time on a Sunday night, so it was pretty safe for me to do it.
Just as a side note, as I was cycling to work this morning a coach sped past me this a.m with "I go to Wembley, interested?" written on the back.
An omen?

So Wurzel's not a playoff specialist then ....

So much going on here today that Ive had no time to worry. In fact worrying more after yesterday that my stream might let me down. Lost most of the first half yesterday but hopefully will be on SS1 not SS2 tonight.

We should win, we are ready win we just have to go out there and do it!! Please let it be over by half-time so we can relax.
