Not the end of the world, sounded extremely promising by the sounds of it with the formation we put out.

Stick with it, we absolutely battered a team in good form, with a very strong squad.

Just a shame we've got Cardiff up next, and Boro got a late winner.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Not over by long way! 3 Points would have been very useful, but with games against Middlesborough, Palace and Leicester (in the play-off positions) we could still sneak in there!

4 points from the Hull and Blackburn games is not a complete disaster! Which is an average of 2 points a game, quoted in all the stats this week as a points quota per game that could and should get us in the play-offs! The fat lady hasn't sung just yet! :albion2:

Age old .... only one stat that counts .... the final score.

Last night after 80 mins, LFC 23 attempts, WBA 0, and look what happened.

Either the Albion need a completely revamped (at great cost again) forward line, or the tactics need changing.
For the past 16 months, other than the odd game, we are incredibly low scorers.

But this is the championship, where you never see massive score lines. 3 or more is quite rare for any team in the division. Cardiff have only scored 3 more then us at home.

This.

We've got we what we probably deserved from the past two home games, both against teams around us - 4 points. We'd have all taken that before the weekend. I'm feeling optimistic now with a third of the season to play a squad with a lot of strength in depth.

Needs Middlesbrough to beat THE SCUM on Saturday , a win at Cardiff next Tuesday means the gap is only 3 points and we'll have a game in hand over Palarse and they have to play us on March 17th.

An awful lot of "ifs" in that scenario for you to actually catch up to us.

Is your season "on" or "over" now? It seems to change every five minutes.

Your recent form is not exactly sparkling is it. How about shutting your cake hole until there is a possibilty you can get promoted this season. Finishing 5th for example will mean nothing if you do not win the play-offs. You are mightily cock sure with 15 games left arent you

Over there
Lots of interesting and thought provoking points on the state of Albions season. But there's one massive question that hasn't been answered,
Are you all happy with me doing match day threads :)

Second thoughts, don't answer that

An awful lot of "ifs"? I make it three.

Ok, try this one. You're six points ahead with fifteen to play, including a match at our place. The way you're boring everyone, you'd think there were about three matches left in the season.

Do you do anything in your day to day life? Every time I post, you've posted on the same thread.

Go get laid, you sad, sad bastard.
