Not over by long way! 3 Points would have been very useful, but with games against Middlesborough, Palace and Leicester (in the play-off positions) we could still sneak in there!

4 points from the Hull and Blackburn games is not a complete disaster! Which is an average of 2 points a game, quoted in all the stats this week as a points quota per game that could and should get us in the play-offs! The fat lady hasn't sung just yet!

Last night after 80 mins, LFC 23 attempts, WBA 0, and look what happened.

Either the Albion need a completely revamped (at great cost again) forward line, or the tactics need changing.
For the past 16 months, other than the odd game, we are incredibly low scorers.

But this is the championship, where you never see massive score lines. 3 or more is quite rare for any team in the division. Cardiff have only scored 3 more then us at home.

We've got we what we probably deserved from the past two home games, both against teams around us - 4 points. We'd have all taken that before the weekend. I'm feeling optimistic now with a third of the season to play a squad with a lot of strength in depth.
