The Honorable Member for Northampton South, Andrew Lewer MBE, has just submitted a 'Dear Sir Graham' letter following May's Ministerial statement today according to Sky News, which Sir Graham Brady wasn't present for in the House.

I suppose you could have a choice between standard membership and the super-discounted version with added opt-outs we already have. Would that do?

How about the limited versions of the Norway model,or the Swiss model,or indeed, the Iceland model?:flypig:Or the full-steam ahead join the Euro,Schengen, and ever-closer political union model.Or the pie-in-the-sky,everything is cosy in the non-corrupt EU,with financial oversight that works, non gravy-train EU?

Every one of these snivelling shits is perfectly clear as to what they DON'T want. And more than a bit thin on what they DO want. Luckily there's a few grown-ups present to carry the thing forward.

We were having a conversation about possible Remain variations and you suggest the Norway, Switzerland and Iceland models. There is no comment in the world I can politely make.

to be fair, Norway is essentially super-dscount membership with some opt outs. its also something some leavers said would be fine with them. perhaps the middle ground is there right in front of us, something that can be spun positive to both sides.

Leaving the EU without a deal would put the country in the same position as before joining the common market. Not exactly Armageddon as many are predicting.

Oh. So the leavers have decided what leave they want now?

No, they still have no idea, but the only choices are the same as they always were

1.Softest of soft Brexits.
2.Cancel article 50.
3. WTO no deal.

(And to make it simple for them, one of those will not happen).

That's good news. And can you lay me some 25-1 about Snow Knight for the 1975 Derby?

You have obviously spent the last 2.5 years understanding exactly what 'no deal' means and then put a lot of thought and the result of your research into that post.

As far as I'm concerned, they are Remain options. They all pay in to the EU and have to accept EU regulations,so you cannot comment because you don't know how to admit you're wrong.Leave means Leave,no payments,no ECJ,no free movement.Responding by trying to be clever seems to be a trait of moaners, one that they haven't managed to master yet.

I don't believe that reply was 'trying to be clever'. It's just a sad fact that most posters on here are f***ing geniuses compared to yourself :lolol:

On your way? :bigwave:

Man from Birmingham announces that Switzerland, Iceland and Norway are members of the EU. Anyone saying otherwise is trying to be clever.
