Good grief.Aldi stuff in your fridge? You don't seem the type to buy British.

Well, when I want British cheddar I buy British. When I want foreign cheese I buy foreign. I use local butchers, fish mongers and green grocers.

Why wouldn’t I buy British? I care deeply about Britain. That’s why I voted remain.

Perhaps the amount of physical goods requiring palletisation for the EU is not as great as you think. In fact,if the EU continue to play politics,it might be nil.One day soon, you and your EU luvvies might realise what a busted flush the whole experiment is,as the Euro goes into meltdown, along with the ECB and its mountains of QE debt.Hope we manage to recover what they owe us.

So lots more posts full of whataboutism, but no response on what you claim to be your specialist subject ?

I am going to give it one last go, because although all previous history suggests I'm wasting my time, I am a great believer in helping the less able.

There are a set of standards for pallets used for shipping between countries within the EU.

There are further standards applied to pallets used for shipping into the EU from outside the EU.

Amongst these extra standards are 'Wood pallets must be heat-treated or cleaned to prevent contamination and the spread of pests, and have specific tests and markings to confirm that they are legal in EU markets'.

Because we are in the EU, the pallets we have used for shipping to the EU did not have to conform to these extra standards.

If we leave the EU without a deal, we are no longer members of the EU and will need all pallets used for shipping to the EU to conform to these extra standards.

Because we haven't needed pallets that conform to these extra standards for the last 40 years we don't have enough stock of them

Understand ?

I'm beginning to wonder whether you were really a forklift driver or whether you just said it to 'big yourself up' like the Bryan Robson stories ???

I was laughing at your immigration remarks to begin with there - like people voted leave to reduce EU immigration and replace it like-for-like with non EU immigration ie people from developing countries. (Still, that's what the Singaporean model requires, so needs must.)

The rest of it was really lovely, nostalgic, Little England stuff.

Then you finished off with blaming it on remoaners. Genius by name, genius by nature. :lolol:

( I see you mentioned chips on the shoulder and the Irish in the same sentence because you've got one burning into your wax jacket there over them - it's got to be really chastening for you and oddball English Brexiteers like Rees-Mogg and Paterson - getting comprehensively owned by the Irish and Johnny Foreigner over Brexit because they wouldn't know their place. That's got to hurt that, especially as Brexit is purely an English creation too - bit like being an International Board member of the FA at The Empire Stadium, Wembley and seeing Johnny Foreigner from Hungary win 6-3 in 1953 at Association Football. :nono: )

Laughing at the fact EU immigration has reduced significantly since the referendum, especially amongst the low skilled element from eastern Europe who were helping to supress wages for the poorest workers in the UK .... typical class warrior, Islington set, corbynista :p

Chip tastic ... Oddball English, Johnny Foreigner, English this, English that, self loathing blah blah blah :lolol:

Yet immigration numbers remain the same so immigrants are coming in greater numbers from elsewhere. I think was the point.

I was laughing at your immigration remarks, as I said - Every-time you excitedly venture onto the subject it always reveals a snippet at what's really beneath your attempted outer veneer, despite your careful spinning.

Higher skilled immigration replacing mass low skilled EU immigration ... win-win for the UK.

I offered no opinion either way. I have no idea what demographic makes up the non EU immigrants. I would assume that non EU immigrants are subject to stricter entry criteria, yes. Whether it’s a good thing depends on the grounds of objection to immigration. If it’s sheer numbers then this is not a win.

I felt it in your tone, the cloak is slipping. We all know that a sizeable majority of the remain campaign was intent on a more Aryen outlook for the future of the United States of Europe.

On our way.

A fully chartered accountant from Pakistan on full pay can do wonders in a care home for dementia sufferers with incontinence that a migrant care worker on the minimum wage from the EU could only dream off too.

We're so lucky to have this post Brexit win-win for the UK.

Hilarious ....you are a self-identified class warrior, who went to see the dear leader speak in person and have defended him on numerous occasions but have distanced yourself from your very clear prejudices ever since.
