Another Brexit thread that started off quite well intended, peaked in the second post, then cascaded into total meltdown.
Brilliant :laugh::shootself

"Us".

You are trying to speak for everyone. I'm sure there are Brighton fans out there engaged in a variety of social issues or debates. But I'm also quite sure most Brighton fans are like most human beings: not really investing their lives in what happens outside their own yard. And I dont blame them, if I had a family and demanding job I would do the same thing.

I have no intention of pissing on Brighton fans as a "group", What I meant from the beginning and still mean now is: let these people deal their ****ing leaflets, pamphlets, smoke signs or whatever and dont be a whiny little **** about it. Regardless of our opinions on society we should be happy someone gives a **** about it and are eager to share their ideas and values. You know - instead of crying about it here, go inform the people of your own perspectives instead.

The way you act and express yourself makes me think you just want to brag about your great morale or whatever, like some teenage girl who goes to the some Greta demonstration just to take pictures of herself while really not giving a **** about the main question itself.

Yes, I was right, a real keyboard warrior.

The OP was on his way to a match, so isn't going to stop and inform the people of his own point of view. There's a time & a place for everything.

God, what a shit you are. Some people don't agree with you. Get over it. Oh, and by the way, I don't go on the Brexit thread these days - too many shits on it who don't do political argument, but just w*nk themselves off sneering at people. I'm happy to leave that cess-pit to you and your jolly chums and their unicorn theories.

I think it’s a valid point.

Not hard. Just not a small minded Xenophobe.

Regardless of your political viewpoint, telling someone that you’ve never met before to **** off, says more about you, than it does them.
I’ve never met you, but to be honest over the years, you’ve come across on this board as quite an educated and level headed chap, but if you did what you say you did, it makes you no better than some of the neanderthal away fans that have stuck a gram of bugle up their noses and decided they’re brave enough to hurl abuse at the home fans.
Personally I just ignored them, handing out leaflets doesn’t particularly offend me.

In a democracy with free speech anyone is entitled to peacefully hand out leaflets, be they the Brexit Party, the Labour Party, the Tories, Lib Dems, socialist workers, or Greens; also those who are are pro- or anti-abortion, supporters of Palestine or supporters of Israel, Extinction Rebellion, 911 Truthers etc...

You can tell them to F off if you like, but it just makes you look like a knuckle-dragger and they’ll probably just laugh at you anyway.

If they can split off the swivelled-eyed-no-deal vote from the tories then job done and they deserve our applause.
And here is the correct answer. Of the three seats in our fair city, one is at risk and we therefore need these knuckle dragging neanderthals to siphon off some of the dickhead vote that comes from the backwaters. Without tactical voting in Kemptown we could let a Tory in through the backdoor which would be a real stain on our collective conscience. Thus these Brexit bellends are a necessary evil and I commend them for summoning enough brain power between them to actually produce a leaflet. Obviously it'll have been littered with errors and untruths but given most of these deadbeats can't even read or write you have to give them credit

Go Joe Miller #bornhere4here

If you haven’t done already, could I very politely request that you join Joe Miller & Bojo the Clown’s GF in door knocking around Kemptown to try and win voters.

I think if voters had the opportunity to meet Tories like you on their door steps, Brighton Kemptown would no longer be a marginal.

Thanks in advance.

I found posting quite cathartic after the subdued game.

How you possibly know that?
Do you speak for the 'vast majority'?

Maybe posting stupid things, (that some people would be ashamed of) for years on NSC and then threatening legal action against NSC for not deleting them when you decide you want a future in politics  is justifiable in some people's opinion and, if so, maybe you're right and the vast majority of NSC posters would back that position

I'm aware of those issues with him, but the point I'm making is that the vast majority are not.
