It's over! Great series finale, gonna miss Walter White so much.

ONE question. Why did WW leave Grey Matter?

SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVNT SEEN IT

He answers this in the show where him mike and jesse have the methylamine and mike/jesse want to sell their stakes, he needed the money at the time and didn't look at the longer picture. Might have been for a car or something like that.

It was never explained. Walt left Gretchen and his research and then sold his part of the company for 10k. Hopefully there may be a few prequel episodes where stuff like that becomes clearer. Perhaps as a dvd extra?

Spoilers in the post. DO NOT read if you haven't seen the finale yet!!

Very satisfying season finale as anticipated which tied up all the loose ends

No it didn't. Not all of them anyway.

What actually happened to Skyler? Surely she couldn't have used the GPS co-ordinates as a bargaining tool to get off fully? Especially given that it was the grave of her brother in law. Marie would never have spoken to her again if she withheld that info.
Do we assume Walt died from the gun shot? Or his cancer? Or died at all?
What happened to Brock?
Where was the rest of the money?
What did Jesse do next? Did he have any money left?
What about Saul?

And most importantly how ****ed up did Badger and Skinny Pete get with their new found wealth??

Lot of talk at work today over which is better – BB or Sopranos.

I go with the Sopranos, but I’m just glad that programs of this quality are being produced.

The Spin off show Call Saul may well enlighten us.

If they had tried to tie up ALL the lose ends may well have led to a not very exciting finale plus it's good that it still leaves you questioning - like the story goes on and you can make up your own ending for what Jesse does next etc

more importantly, how can bullet holes at waist height hit someone lying on the floor?

Oh and what was lovely was Jesse making the box then cutting to him in the lab...

Remember he had to sell a box for weed and he talked about it in his support group

I shall miss this series.

Bloody box sets mean that you can pile through weeks of episodes in one fell swoop, rather than having the epic sweep of something unique surround you for the months originally intended. That said, there is something devilishly seductive with the prospect of an entire evening given over to, say, 4 or 5 hours of The Newsroom, or The Killing, or The Shield, that keeps us going, keeps us on the search for the next one... and the next one...

Think that's going to be set before he met Walt.

Yep, it's a prequel.

True. Still enough there if Vince Gilligan gets short of a bob or two to churn out a couple more episodes. Half of me hope that happens, half hopes he leaves it as that.

There's a nice note on IMDb regarding the final episode's title, Felina. Not only is it an anagram of 'finale', Fe Li Na is a nod to 'Blood, Sweat/Meth and Tears'.

Brilliant finale, shame Dexter (not it BB's class) didn't get anywhere near it.

Great show sad to see it go. It was TV heaven last night BB final ep and Boardwalk Empire.

Fantastic end to a truly great series, as mentioned above tied up all the loose ends kept up a run of ridiculously good episodes which started back from the mid-point of season 4.

The scene with Walt & Skyler is one of the best scenes from the whole show and was quite emotional when he said goodbye to Holly and the rest of his family.

Just watched from start to finish in 6 weeks, (bought all box sets). Best programme I've ever seen, and I was a massive 24 fan, but as that got worse, Breaking Bad just got better and better. Just ordered my KEEP CALM BITCH t-shirt off ebay!!! Gutted its finished, gonna watch it all again now!
