Clearly you don't if you're not able or prepared to do so.
But you could boycott Coca-Cola in favour of Pepsi and write about it on 'social media'.

Yes, as per my earlier message, I am boycotting all the rest. I was just hoping that somebody somewhere who knows all the answers would give me some info. about how to boycott Visa.

You can do it. All singapore taxis no longer take visa due to a boycott over fees. That's a lot of money. It can be done.

I'm sure #boycottfifassponsors is a thing, along was assorted Facebook pages and blogs.

I'm also sure the moment it takes hold and gains some creditably that will be the only time FIFA actually take notice.

VISA aren't going to say we're alright jack, we've got a monopoly'.

OK then - how do I boycott Visa when that's the only available option if I want to have a debit card, without changing the bank I've been with for over forty years?

There are 6 companies that are listed as FIFA partners and a further 8 that are listed as World Cup sponsors.there is plenty of options for you to withdraw your custom from many of them and let them know directly or via social media if you want to.

It's very easy to boycott visa by not using visa. What sort of hold do they have over you unless you owe them bundles.

Awarding of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosting rights: FIFA lodges criminal complaint

Following the statement issued by the chairman of the adjudicatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee, Hans-Joachim Eckert, on the report by the chairman and deputy chairman of the investigatory chamber, Judge Eckert has recommended to the FIFA President – in line with the FIFA Code of Ethics – that a criminal complaint be lodged with the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland in Berne. This criminal complaint has been lodged today. The subject of the criminal complaint is the possible misconduct of individual persons in connection with the awarding of the hosting rights of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups investigated by Michael Garcia, chairman of the investigatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee. In particular there seem to be grounds for suspicion that, in isolated cases, international transfers of assets with connections to Switzerland took place, which merit examination by the criminal prosecution authorities. The reports compiled by Michael Garcia and Cornel Borbély will be made available to the Office of the Attorney General via Hans-Joachim Eckert.

Unlike FIFA’s bodies, the Swiss criminal prosecution authorities have the ability to conduct investigations under application of criminal procedural coercive measures.

It's not so easy to have a choice about not using Visa. I don't owe them anything - but:
1). I have a bank account (which I need);
2). I have a debit card (which I cannot manage without);
3). The choices available for having a debit card from the bank are, Visa, Visa, or.......ermm.........Visa.

I'm not in Singapore though, and the likelihood of me ever engaging a Singapore taxi is less likely than Septic Bladder handing over all his money to charity and then handing himself in at his local nick.

You may not be there, but the entire taxi fleet of a world financial centre blanking them and still operating without a hitch means nothing?.

You want to blank visa you can blank visa. It's really really easy.

If part the centrally controlled transport infrastructure of a global city can boycott visa unilaterally I am sure you can.

Like you say you are unlikely to be in singapore - I give you an example of a boycott that is the equivalent of London cabs boycotting them and you see that as otherworldly foreign and unlikely to impact you or have any bearing on your situation. I think that's all we need to know about your perspective.

Are you kidding? The only people named as having a case to answer were at our FA. That's what this will be about. There'll be European arrest warrants out for half the FA leadership - past and present.

1) - Keep your bank account, I don't suppose they pay VISA anything just for the fact you have a bank account
2) - Where possible, don't use your debit card to buy anything. When you have to use it, don't worry.
3) - As 2 - buy things with your credit card (Mastercard). I hardly ever use my debit card.

Will this mean that they actually look into the bids made by Russia and Qatar. Or will they still take Russia's word for it that all the documents got deleted by mistake.

He's the one who's filed the complaint. Like any mob boss, he wouldn't have his name on anything, even though he's in charge.

Is it? What is it, then, and where?
It must be, by virtue of the fact I couldn't have had an original idea.

If by a minor miracle nobody has started the ball rolling, go for it.
The footballing world could end up thanking you.

It does exist on Facebook and Twitter.The Facebook page has links to many of the sponsors if you wish to contact them directly to let them know you intend to boycott them

Yes, you idiot - but I don't TAKE payments via Visa - I use it when I use my debit card to buy things.

It's not up to me to try and organise London cabs - or anybody else - to refuse to accept payments by Visa. I just would like to replace my Visa card with another type - but the bank won't let me!
