Sweat doesn't wick off your skin when there is high humidity which is why you get hotter.

I feel like a fat bastard sitting here (may be partly true!). It's not that hot but I'm sweating like a peado in a playground. Hope theres a lare storm tonight!

Since spending 3 months in SE Asia my body seems to have adapted to heat and humidity so I'm not too uncomfortable anymore in this weather. I'd recommend you all go on a trip to somewhere with a higher humidity for a few months and then when you get back your'll be fine! No need for expensive air con or ceiling fans or even camping in the garden.
