Nearly winning £5000 last week got me thinking.

So NSC what's the most you've won at the bookies?

Thanks Greens :(
Come on! Don't be shy! Just because some on here give it LARGE about winning a bag of longs(?), it's the not so large wins that should be posted as well

I won £500 quid a couple of weeks ago on a 50p ew lucky 15, 3 winners and one loss (if that loss had of come in I would have won 11k)

Also a few years back, I got 14 out of 15 football results correct on a Saturday. The 15th was the Carling Cup final the next day. Chelsea vs Spurs. If Chelsea would have won as expected, I would have won 21k. They didn't...

I had 2 , one was I put a fiver on England to win the 2005 Ashes 2-1 and got odds of 45/1, I picked up £230 with that one! The other was an Albion match couple years earlier I think, I had Brighton 2 Sheffield Wednesday 0 and Leon Knight to score 1st, again a fiver. Knight put us in front, but with a couple mins left, Chris McPhee of all people scored the 2nd! giving me £180! Though hopefully I'll get a bigger win in the next couple of days, as I went for a job interview with Coral last week to be an assistant manager, I'll hear in the next few days. Fingers crossed.

Won £500 from a £20 stake on a 6 match accumulator about 15 years ago. Probably worth about £800+ in today's money.

Like most people though. despite some usually successful bets on the Grand National, I would have to say that I've lost more than I've won.

I won £20 on a scratchcard years ago.
The most I get now (from lay betting) is £2.00 each time. Today I have won £14 so far, so cannot complain!
