Been reading Redemption song , Joe Strummer biography, then listening to the whole Clash back catalogue as I read through the book, one of the most influential bands of our time.
Good exhibition on at the museum of London for Clash fans.

Personal favourite from my teens and still love it.
No support, played all of Setting Sons and a dozen or so hits...
They were brilliant...The sound was the best ever at the Concorde...Been seeing them around Christmas for many a year now and, amazingly, me and my mate both said that if Paul Weller turned up and said he was replacing Russell Hastings we'd be disappointed !

I had the LP on repeat when it came out, and loved that track. But....boy does that make uncomfortable listening today, though. Misogenystic and nasty.
Amazing how many tracks there are that were happily played on radio 1 at one time, but which would cause an outcry if played today....
