Abdul razak. I was gutted when Gus fell out with him, he looked a class act and I fully expect to see him playing regularly in the prem in the next couple of years.

I remember at the time being gutted we didn't get Joe Mattock back. Then it was revealed Wayne Bridge was coming on loan instead and I quickly forgot how dissapointed I was.

I was probably one of the few that liked the look of Vokes too.

Good call Vokes played well for us and is proving so at Burnley

Leroy Lita was alright for a couple of games.

I can think of several loanees I'd like to have kept, though to be honest I don't know if, or how hard, the club tried to keep them:
Brian Dear
Paul Dickov
Martin Keown
Wayne Bridge
Steve Sidwell -
Thos five could have provided a nice little nucleus of a side to build on (had they all been around at the same time, of course).
