Funny enough I was only thinking about this as a thread yesterday morning. Random tracks were playing and this came on. From an era of Prefab Sprout and Wet Wet Wet this was literally music to my ears. I love the deliberately slow sort of off key sound.



Some others I like off the top of my head include both Porno and We Exist off Arcade Fire’s Reflektor album, Play For Today by The Cure and Southern Death Cults Fatman

MAGNIFICENT shout. Reminds me just how great an album (and totally different to anything else out there) Squirrel and G Man 24 Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out) was. Including the full title, obviously.
