What about the chap from Exeter we called animal, possibly hairy all over, not that I know this personally you understand. (Goldstone days)

A more credible candidate than most on here, who just have long hair. Being pedantic, "hirsute" is generally accepted as meaning having plenty of body hair. So I'm guessing Trevor Hockey counts, along with one or two others, although until we see a shirt-off goal celebration, we may never know.
