Won't it be a shame when our lovely Celtic brethren get independence and have to make their own way in the world without us awful English? :tosser:

As it happens I think it's very bad form to have a party on the day of her death. They should wait until the day of her funeral.

Oh, do me a favour. good riddance is being to kind to the selfish bitch, it should 'AT LAST AND HURRAHHH!"

You ignorant pleb...... there is a human element here, besides this woman had courage of her convictions, which is more than can be said of the 'red' shower that ran country into the ground for 13 years recently.

The wealthiest 10% in the UK has 22 times more wealth, on average, than the bottom half.

Lol.

I'm sorry but, did these wealthy people steal the money that they have from poorer people?

Are rich people a bad thing? Are rich people inherently bad or immoral?

Do you believe that everyone should have equal wealth?

I am many things in this life, but ignorant isn't one of them.

Pleb? You may have a point.

Me too! I'm embarrassed that some of the morons on here support the same team as me. God help us all.

I really enjoy NSC but tonight I am closing to finishing with it.

I always feared this day - not because of any great reverence that I hold for Thatcher, but it was clearly going to be a time when people were going to be dreadfully disrespectful.

As such, I've not read a word on this thread and I won't. I have renamed it appropriately however.

All our current difficulties can be traced back to her policies, another Thatcher is the last thing we need.

Hilarious.....

Now it's been renamed "inspirational", I can't help but hear the opening theme to The Muppet Show

Is that disrespectful?

To be fair, I expected much worse than there has been.

Oddly, I rather expected to see the usual political heavyweight NSCers slugging it out but it seems they have enough respect over the death of a frail, elderly, dementia sufferer to stay away.

I'm assuming you are in that top 10% then Bozza ? I'm pretty sure you would not have tinkered in this way if you were in the bottom 90% ?

The truly inspirational Baroness Thatcher - RIP

Considering its a Tory board and previous thatcher threads have gone the way of the thatcher lovers this thread is heartening. Shows what a terrible women she was and the pain she caused
