Oh, how disgraceful! We cannot even afford poundland. However I do expect the reasonable priced goods, will put the gluttony of the plethora of charity shops to shame.

Haywards Heath has charity shops?. I could understand if this shop was opening in America Lane, but in South Road!! Sounds like the place has already been taken over by Burgess Hillites, Rev!!

Anything that helps that ridiculous market on a Saturday, that has hardly anybody attend and disrupts the traffic tremendously, to fail and be closed down must be welcomed.

When trading 4 U closed I actually sent an e mail to Poundland suggesting they took it over and received a reply saying they would send a representative to investigate. Obviously didn't go any further. Biggest question is when are Wetherspoons going to develop and open The Priory as they had a notice requesting change of use etc on it over a year ago.

Haywards Heath has been morphing into Burgess Hill over the last few years, that's why I can't wait to sell my flat and move to Brighton/Hove.

I'm sure the market traders will be grateful for you wishing their business go to ruin. What do you consider ridiculous about it, out of curiosity? I don't live in Haywards Heath & have no particular axe to grind. Do the locals not want or support the market?

I have been told, by a reliable source, that Wetherspoons will not be opening in HH. Which is a shame.
