- Away fans in S1D, S1E, S1F and S1G blocks. S1C/S1H blocks to be used as overflow/segregation.

- Existing Albion STHs in S1G and S1H given early option to relocate.

Crap decision if you ask me.

Brighton fans in the poorer corner seats.

The clear advantage of having your own fans behind the goal for the away team.

And when they don't sell out... empty seats in prime TV camera shots.

Whatever the practical reasons for this... it is pretty disappointing.

How many away fans will pay £6 more for a slightly different (and in my opinion, worse) view of the game?
Seems sensible to me, all the away tickets will be the same price.

Is there really an advantage of having the away fans behind the goal? Is there an actual correlation between results and away fan positioning or is it just something people say to try and justify their point?

It will be better to have the away fans behind the goal rather than spread out all over the place in the ESL , SEC and SS. Also means for the Category C matches the club can offer special prices for students to fill up the end block in ESL and the corner too.

dont think anyone in East was moaning - we were quite close and it's no problem.

seems sensible if it means less need to change things round game by game and not sure it realky affects atmisphere. Away fans mostly got a poor deal this season (like us at Wolves or Cardiff and Bristol stuck in a corner).

It's looked like they every game bar Arsenal and Newcastle and with games like those we will sell out the home end anyway..

the seating layout is a f***ing joke ,the away fans should be stuck out of the way in North west upper where no one can hear them. The family stand should be in the whole of the south

man u and newcastle have it right - stick em high up away i the corners...........

....just shows we are starting to care about selling more tickets than the players having an easier ride when playing.....sad.

Not the real one
It is a bit of a mess. Personally I don't see the point of family areas, you just offer cheaper prices for adults with kids all round and do good offers for kids, then you don't need a family area. There's 3 kids sit in front of me in ESU, what's the difference? Also a family area in the NW corner isn't going to like some of the language from the North. The away fans should be in the SW corner as it has 1200 seats and only extend it along part of the south for a big allocation, also all the same price too.

With 31k capacity we need as many away fans as possible to come & fill the place up, they need to have good seats to keep returning

success will bring more of our own fans and more money.

focusing on getting tons of away fans to come and have an amazing experience is a self defeating strategy.

So you can guarantee success can you? We could be in this division for a decade..
....& you want clubs to bring 800 & create little atmosphere?

I think the club have got this right, it makes more practical sense for visiting fans to be incentivised to come, teams like Leeds bought better numbers last season and created a better atmosphere too. People drone on every day about atmosphere, this will help massively.
