Will Harley Reid accept any of the offers to stay long term at the Eagles? Best player on the roster imo, so worth the money - but hard to see why he would with the way they are right now....

He's a Victorian. He's absolutely 100% coming back to Vic/Melbourne.
Itll depend on who has the biggest hand to offer him and the Weagles, which would be most likely Essendon or St Kilda - and i'd say the Saints are closer out of those two, but still absolutely miles away from flag contention. He'll want to go to Geelong, Hawthorn or Collingwood for the glamour and the reasonable nearness to winning stuff, and the piles of $$$ as well of course! Wonder who he supported as a kid?
I know i'm hopelessly biased but he doesnt half seem like a right arsehole, he's so easily sucked in by fights and off the ball nonsense when he should be bursting games open all the time. If the Eagles get anything north of two first rounders then they'll have won in the deal i reckon. Good player, massive twat, better off out of the changing room.

Apparently hes supported Geelong all his life - so thats a good shout. Read on Fox Sports that Essendon and Hawthorn are leading the pack if he doesn't sign the Eagles deal....

Very much looking forward to rolling out of bed on Good Friday morning and watching the end of the Carlton/Kangas game, and then seeing the weagles getting murdered - thats a fine start to any bank holiday. Slightly ridiculous 4am alarm on the saturday for the mighty Freo, but hopefully 4 more points incoming . . .

Good effort from the Bombers this morning. Watched the first half before work, and they clawed their way back in to the game really well, but just couldn't match the Pies through the final term. And yes, this was ridiculous....

Bombers got their nose in front at one point, partially due to a lot of sloppy Pies fumbles. From a Collingwood point of view it bodes well to be able to grind out a win while not playing particularly well in very wet conditions. Carna Pies!

Bloody work doesnt half get in the way of my Freo watching - i love a big game under the lights, but keep em to sat and sun for the northern hemisphere types! lovely and very crucial win for Freo today vs the much improving Crows. Need to back it up next week though, no good winning one and dropping the next . . . back to back effort required
