In short, if a few thousands stay at home Villa fans turned up, they could have had a record all seater attendance.

As you bounced the thread I thought I would pick up on the fact that their record all seater attendance is 42,788 and their capacity is 42,783, 5 less than their record. So there was no way the record could have been beaten

Its been interesting reading through this I was at the game and relating what is being said to what I saw is strange.

Don't know if my interview with Harty was ever used anywhere but I think he was a bit late arriving where the Albion fans were.
