drop jenas or hargreaves and add ashton to the squad. we have adequate midfield cover and ashton offers something none of the other 4 strikers do. that way we have a very nice mix up front. i dont like crouch and think he is totally overated but still recognise that his height has posed problems to our advantage in the past BUT we need another option for the full 90 - ashton is that player

Crouch was out of the game completely today, so he can't rip a Prem defence apart, let a one create anything. Over a 90 mins game this does not look good for England. Ashton, looked like he had time on the ball, obviously strong, could do a job with the invalids of England.
