My sister lives in East Looe Cornwall about 20 miles from Plymouth she told me the following a short while ago, ' I have no idea who this person is'. It sounds like he used to be in Dallas or Dynasty'. 'I think they only play Rugby in Plymouth or Hockey'. I don't think they have a football team you know.

Will be very happy if we get him but I agree we shouldnt put unrealitsic hopes on his shoulders. He shows a lot of potential but he is only 20. I suspect he will be good next year if he comes here because our style suits his game but no, not 20 next season, the following season though, maybe.

I don't know why people are being so negative about the lad. He's proven he knows where the net is, something many of our front men have seemed incapable of doing of late. He's young, so plenty of scope for improvement AND he talks like a farmer, which will be funny in interviews.

You don't necessarily need a 25 goal a season striker if everyone chips in. There are plenty of examples of that in league one over the last decade. I did write down the stats somewhere, but I'll be buggered if I can find it again. Obviously that relies on the ability of our other players to find the net.

I still can't believe people don't rate him, how many goals did he need to score in order to prove himself to some people? As well as this, the lad is 20 years old guys...

spot on. at 20 years of age i think he is a real prospect and a cracking signing.
obviously we want another top notch striker, but come on if you saw murray and barnes up front you wouldnt be unhappy.

or if we need a goal with half an hour to go barnes would be ideal to throw on.

during a season with injuries and suspensions he will get pleny of game time with us and will only improve

I seem to recall EVERYONE expected Zamora to score bucket loads of goals when he signed for us!

You need a goalscoring midfield though. Something we haven't had since, well, I don't think we've ever had one in my time.

Elliott Bennett will be good for 10 - 15 goals next season, so I would argue that we do have one....
