Would love it if he scored a big goal in the run in and pulled this out for all the Barnes haters.

Some of the posters have so much hate for Barnes its unreal. For those saying Greer's weren't as bad, wasn't the one on his debut for a punch?? Also Barnes' one against Burnley last year was extremely harsh, if his fault at all.

Some are massively overreacting the trip, he didn't run towards the ref and he didn't end up on the floor. Obviously no one on here has done anything they regret when angry.

From the points on the transfer fee, didn't Wolves bid a couple of million for him last summer??

Muzza was a H U G E mistake. Barnes would NOT be. He is an average player at our level. Bye bye you petulant tw@t.

No one thought Murray could step up to this level, and he didn't last year either. Who's to say he would do as well in this side as he's done at Palace? Barnes stepped up last year and could probably of done so this year too, he hasn't played much and thats been down to Gus as well as the suspensions. His persistence with CMS has meant Barnes has been on the bench for games he couldve scored vital goals in.

How many times has he been sent off due to off the ball offences? i can think of two. He was also suspended for his debut after being sent off for Swindon in the play-off semi final.

There was the red in his first game for us in the box while Rochdale were getting ready to take a free kick on the half way line
There was a red v Sheffield Wednesday later that season for what the brief match report I just read called an off the ball incident
There was a red for elbowing a Southampton player in the middle while the ball was on the wing.
