That's a club that needs a serious clean out from top to bottom. Instead they'll probably just sack Arteta.

Going to be difficult without any European football to offer, as any top class players will avoid going there.
May need to let some top earners go for next to nothing just to get rid of players with a bad attitude, and to build from a young team, where players mainly see Arsenal as a stepping stone to the next level.
A rebuilding programme that will probably take a minimum of three years, and even longer before they are one of the fancied teams to in the title.

Yeah, which is why they'll probably sack Arteta. It's the easier option. Seems to me they're going through a similar experience to Man Utd except they started from lower position than Man U and so are sinking into mid table.

Both clubs need to find their next long term manager, back him and give him several seasons to sort things out.
