Made up. Every squad needs a minimum of three thirtysomething right backs.

Every time I've been aware of him playing before I've not paid enough attention to particularly remember his performance, but I remember his appearance simply because I constantly forget he is the younger Rosenier and find myself thinking "Didn't he retire years ago? He must be really old now..."

As ever, I will neither get excited nor despondent about the signing until I've seen him play some football for us (preferably enough to know if a poor performance is an off day, if a great performance can be maintained, if he can settle in and thrive in our system/line up.

Never heard of him and another 30 yr old and 3 year contract. He's only here as no one was interested and to top his pension up.

As if it needed reinforcing that you know next to sod all about football :lolol:

The other good thing is it greatly lessens the chances of signing Joe Bennett back!

Rosenior is naturally right-footed though.

Hopefully we are looking at bringing in a first choice, naturally left-sided fullback as well.

Yes on the basis that he's clearly got enough nouse and experience to be an upper echelon Championship defender. Only negative would be that I think we need young and hungry players who have something to prove and at 30 he isn't that.

I'm not sure it matters that much, one of our better full backs of recent years played with his wrong foot. If only about 10% of people are naturally left-footed then there must have been a fair few right-footed left backs over the years

Bridge was much nearer the end of his career when he arrived and look how that worked out (same with Upson). If we can get someone like Garrido to come down and play on the other side, we'll have a solid defence that won't leak many goals. Lot of good teams have been built upon solid defences.

What's not to like. Decent, experienced defender having played at this level or higher for a large part of his career. Can play both left and right, good start to the recruitment.

I think I am but I can't ever recall noticing him tbh, so hard to vote. We need a specialist RB so fingers crossed he's got pace and is more reliable there than Calderon or Bruno.
