You appear surprised at what maths would suggest would be the expected outcome.
If you drill down through the numbers, it would seem that 36.9% of the electorate have got the government they want. This would mean that 62.1% have not. Actually only 36.9% of the 66.1% who voted got what they wanted, this equates to only 24.41% of the country wanting a conservative government. This means that over 75% of us didn't vote for them, but have got them.
Using the same method less than 20% voted Labour. That means that over 80% didn't vote for them, and presumably are either happy or don't care.
