Currie is no nippy winger, we'll have to make do with what we have unless a money man climbs out of the woodwork.

Currie chose Luton because of his Mother's health so location is important to him. I doubt we could get him (although I would love to have him back here)

I don't know if you watched the game two weeks back, but he couldn't get past his man then, and apart from set kicks - he's not in any way a tricky winger. Nathan Jones I'd welcome back before Currie, nowadays.

Currie ran the game for Luton and was behind all their good moves. I also saw him on TV against Northampton a few weeks ago and he was good then too. Sorry, I don't have any rose colured specs.

You might need some specs, if you didn't see how easily dispossessed he was when on the ball, and how frustrated he was when his crosses, as usual, ended with nothing in particular happening.

Agree pretty much word for word, although I disagree about Currie he didn't impress me at all when Luton came to the Withdean.

So they may do but face facts Robinson is dynamite when coming on as an "impact" player with 30 minutes or so left. He is nowhere near as good for a full match - perhaps it's his fitness or perhaps it's a way of sticking two fingers up and saying "I told you so". Unfortunately he comes on and makes an impact in a game then gets put into the side from the start next match and fails to deliver.

i don't think we shall see an Albion substitute change the game as much as Robinson did against orient and if i am right in what i saw he went inside, outside and hit the bar from 20 yards....not bad for a 20 minute cameo !
also think it's harsh on those 2, at the end of the day we came up against a very strong side yesterday he defended a very high line with not much space to get our wide players into the game, that is what happens at any level just look how Bolton kept quiet Utd famous 4 yesterday. The game was tight and i was supirised when Wilkins subbed Robinson as i feel Martot does not bring alot to the party and he certainly will not be taking on 3 players !

That, rather than our own player's alleged failings, might explain why they were harder to get past.

Currie was involved in just about all the decent Luton moves that day, hard to shake off the ball, delivers quality crosses and pretty consistently good at set pieces. Their best player on the day imo, so I must have watched a different game to you that day.

Are you sure you weren't putting all your looking into watching El Abd

yeah about right , they were very very organised and can see why they are difficult to beat. I think we need another option out wide though as Martot isn't an at them andround them player either.
Their 2 wingers looked good and when they attacked they attacked in a line of 4, would like to see us do that more

Byrne made the point on SCR commentary during the 1st half that he thought Carlisle were the most organised, defensively, team we'd played this season.

Carlisle were excellent yesterday, and so were we. It seemed to me that Cox and Robinson often moved inside as a deliberate ploy to try to draw their central defenders forward and play round them.

We won't meet many teams as strong as that at the back.

I agree with what you say about Cox, he never seems to run at players and it does seem good sides in this league have sussed him out. When he delivers one bad cross the next 3 or 4 tend to be poor too. Watching him last season remember thinking, this is the first time in a while where we've had someone run at a player with intent. Hopefully he will have the confidence to start taking players on again.

Currie would be good, he's experienced and his deliver IS ACCURATE.

You should ask if you can pay half price when you watch the Albion, seeing as it seems you only go to watch one team
