Just switched off as bored to tears and the commentator and summariser are awful IMHO.

England were almost as unambitious in attack as the Albion last season. But generally I enjoyed it more than I expected. The glaring weakness in wonen's football to me has usually been the goalkeeping, with pretty well any shot on target going in, but things have obviously improved.

Right, dinner done. Kids watching a film, wife settled with some soap so I thought after the earlier positive result I would get my fix with a pleasing England victory. So far, so dull.

I've only really been watching the England and Nigeria games, plus Germany's opener.
England by far the dullest team I've seen so far.

Aluko....is she all that?
Well she'd struggle to make the Nigerian team I think given the quality of their forwards.

What is it that sprays up from these artificial pitches when there is an impact? It looks like brown powder/soil.
3G pitches have little black rubber bits all over them. They fill your boots when you play on them too and need emptying before teenage kids step back in the house.

That Aluko has the worst touch/ball control I've ever seen on a football pitch.

:goal:
1-0 England

1-0 England 70 mins. It's not brilliant but at least they're up for it.
